News: RiskChallenger celebrates five-year anniversary with expansion and professionalization

AMERSFOORT, May 27, 2024 - RiskChallenger is celebrating its five-year anniversary of being independent this year. Last year the company experienced growth.

Harry Steenwijk, Managing Partner of RiskChallenger; "we have recently added the other half of our floor at the Hardwareweg in Amersfoort to be able to provide every colleague with a good workplace, we will soon have a completely redesigned website and the clientele we serve is constantly expanding. Time to professionalize and look beyond!"

Expansion and Innovation

RiskChallenger develops and markets risk management software with a unique approach: Communicative Risk Management. This method emphasizes transparency and interaction, making risk management an integral part of daily operations. "This now goes beyond programs and projects at RiskChallenger. We now also serve the safety and security market and are sniffing out Business Continuity Management," says Harry.

Structuring and Certification

To manage growth, RiskChallenger has structured its internal organization. The company now consists of one central operating unit for Software Solutions and three specialized Business Units: RiskChallenger Projects, RiskChallenger Resilience and RiskChallenger Academy. These units are supported by the Business Support and Marketing & Sales departments. In addition, the company will be audited in September for ISO27001 (information security) and ISO9001 (quality assurance) certifications.

Management Team Change

The professionalization of RiskChallenger is accompanied by a change in the Management Team. Where the MT consisted of four members, this has been reduced to two, which benefits the speed and dynamics in which the organization finds itself. As of May 1, Diederik Bol and Harry Steenwijk are leading the aforementioned business units from a central role.

Future Ambitions

All in all, this contributes to RiskChallenger's goal of being the "Go To Place" for risk management in the full range for the Netherlands (and beyond)!
