Our revamped brainstorm is live!
Last weekend, a new release of the RiskChallenger app came online, with an all-new brainstorming feature. Several new features have been added in this update, which you can take advantage of from now on!
Keep the brainstorm open
From now on, you can keep a brainstorm within RiskChallenger open! So this means your team members have more time to think about potential risks, both before and after your planned brainstorm. The facilitator has control over when the session closes, ensuring clear expectation management. Moreover, this feature provides the opportunity to organize a more structured risk session.
In the revamped brainstorm, data is no longer stored locally in the browser, making the session more robust against any network problems. So you can feel free to close the brainstorm window without losing data. You can always access the brainstorm again via your e-mail.
Via the participant menu within the brainstorm, you can easily view the online status of all participants. This allows you to see who is actively participating in the brainstorm session at that moment. You also follow live which risks are added in this brainstorm.
GIS integration and filters in the brainstorm
In the revamped brainstorm, you have the option to add risks from the GIS integration. The map view allows you to view different map layers and add location-specific risks.
Next, it is possible to use the filters in the risk file in the brainstorm. This makes it easier to organize the risks in the brainstorm and minimize the work that needs to be done after the session is completed.
Choose your own canvas - place risks freely or in a column format
Users can place risks freely on the whiteboard canvas wherever they want. If you don't want to use this feature, turn it off. Your canvas then becomes column-shaped.
With the free position function, there are a number of additional features;
Drag and position risks
Place your risks wherever you want on the canvas. You have infinite freedom of movement on the canvas for your risks.
Group risks
Risks can be grouped and named, allowing you to group risks within the same category. Users can move groups with multiple risks at once.
Merging risks
Colleagues may come up with the same risk and enter it into the brainstorm. To facilitate this, facilitators have the option to merge risks into one.
