Translation validation - automatically translated error messages

RiskChallenger has created an open-source library that automatically translates error messages. For example, a Dutch error message can be automatically translated into an English error message. This saves developers a lot of time and energy because they do not have to develop these basic functions themselves and have a strong foundation to work on. RiskChallenger is happy to contribute to this.

RiskChallenger values these open source projects

There are many input fields in RiskChallenger, for example entering the file name or risk description. In case you forget to enter these, a red border will appear around the input field along with a message. As RiskChallenger supports multiple languages, English and Dutch, these notifications must of course also be translated.

For this functionality, we first searched for an open-source library that could already do this work for us, but could not find anything. For that reason, we developed a library for this ourselves and also made it public as open-source.

In this technical blog post, we explain why we created the library, what it can do and how it works technically.
