v5.1.0
Release notes
In this release, we've launched a new version of our brainstorm. All the new features in this brainstorm are listed here:
1. Keep the brainstorm open - this feature creates the opportunity to give your team members more time to think about risks before or after the brainstorm. The facilitator can decide when to close the brainstorm, which makes clear expectations management possible. Thanks to this function, the brainstorm data remains better protected against loss of network connectivity.
2. Choose the way to brainstorm - free space or grid-shaped. With a whiteboard-like canvas, users can place risks where they want. If you only want to focus on introducing risks, you can start a brainstorm with the free space option turned off. This will show the risks in a grid style.
3. Improved participant view - you can now see the online status of the participants in the brainstorming session.
4. Live risk assessment - participants can see live what new risks are being typed
5. GIS integration in the brainstorm - add location-specific risks via the GIS integration in the brainstorm.
6. Assigning filters in the brainstorm - to make it easier to organize risks, you can now use filters in the brainstorming sessions. This minimizes work after a session is complete. The risk filters that are available are the ones you have in the case setup!
And these features are available in free space mode:
7. Dragging and positioning risks - you can now choose to drag and position risks onto the canvas. This allows you to use brainstorming sessions as a whiteboard where you have endless movement.
8. Grouping risks - Users can now group risks and name them. This is useful for visualizing risks that belong to the same category together. These groups can also be dragged across the canvas at once.
9. Aggregate risks - sometimes colleagues can come up with the same risk and introduce it into the brainstorm. You can now immediately combine two risks in the brainstorm to remove duplicate risks. This is a facilitator only feature.
